Interesting mechanism, wrong stage. DNSP-11 has moved from cells to rats to macaques without cutting corners, and the macaque data is genuinely encouraging. But no human has ever been dosed, and that means no dosing, safety, or outcome data exists. If the Parkinson’s story moves to a trial, this gets interesting fast. Until then, there’s nothing to run.
What it is
DNSP-11 is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the prodomain of GDNF, the growth factor the brain uses to keep dopamine neurons alive. Where GDNF itself is too large to deliver easily, DNSP-11 is small enough to reach the brain through the nose in animal work. It sits on the nootropic shelf next to compounds like dihexa, but the story here is narrower and more honest: this is a Parkinson’s-model tool, not a general cognition booster, and the research group behind it has been methodical about moving from dish to rodent to primate without skipping steps.

Realistic protocols
I’m not building a protocol from animal dosing that has never touched a human. The animal studies dosed DNSP-11 intranasally, and the few self-experimenters follow that route, typically at low microgram doses once or twice daily for a few weeks at a time. That protocol is extrapolation, not evidence. If you’re drawn to the dopamine-neurotrophic angle, dihexa has more community mileage, though it carries its own caveats. If you run DNSP-11 anyway, go low, go short, and log everything you notice. Nobody has measured what this does to a person, let alone what dose is right.
