Skip it. Two published papers, both cell-culture work, no animal efficacy model, no human trial. One showed an anti-inflammatory signal in a dish. The other tested five tripeptides on rat skin cultures, and chonluten was the one that did not stimulate cell proliferation. That is the entire case. If respiratory inflammation is the concern, an inhaler and a pulmonologist are the real answer, not a tripeptide whose best finding is a TNF reduction in a monocyte assay.

Would I take it?Not on two papers and a hypothesis.

What it is

A three-amino-acid synthetic bioregulator from the Khavinson program, aimed at bronchial and respiratory tissue. Its sibling bronchogen covers the same respiratory territory from the structural repair side. Chonluten is the inflammatory-signaling entry, and of the two, it has less behind it.

Among the Khavinson family, epitalon has the most published evidence. Chonluten is near the bottom of the shelf.

What the research shows

No human trials. Zero. Everything below is animal or in-vitro work. Read it as “interesting,” not “evidence it works in you.”

Two cell-culture papers. No animal efficacy study, no human trial:

Chonluten inhibited tumor necrosis factor production by human THP-1 monocytes exposed to lipopolysaccharide. Peptide-treated cells showed reduced adhesion to activated endothelial cells.IJMS 2022 · human monocytes in vitro
No human clinical trial, animal efficacy model, or safety study exists for chonluten.as of Aug 2026

Realistic protocols

No published study names a human dose, route, or schedule for chonluten. The community runs it on the Khavinson bioregulator course: short subcutaneous runs of 10 to 20 days, once or twice a year. That protocol is borrowed from the broader bioregulator tradition, not from any chonluten-specific data. I would not run this. If respiratory inflammation is the actual problem, there are real treatments for it that do not start with a cell-culture peptide.

Side effects

No safety data of any kind exists:

unknownZero human safety data, zero animal safety data. The entire side-effect profile is a blank page.
anecdotalChonluten is rarely run on its own and generates almost no standalone community feedback.
