RAD-140 vs RAD-150
4 sources
Between these two, RAD-140, because at least its risks are written down. RAD-150 is sold as a longer-acting ester of RAD-140, and no published study of it exists in any species, so you get the same suppression and liver questions with no data on any of them. RAD-140 itself behaves like an oral steroid, which is why the pill still says caution. If what you want is a SARM you can run sensibly, that is ostarine, not either of these.
How they differ
The difference that matters is the paper trail, not the chemistry. RAD-140 has a human trial, case reports, and years of forum logs, so you know the bill: heavy suppression, an HDL hit, a liver that complains, a short fuse. RAD-150 is sold as RAD-140 with an ester attached, sometimes sold as TLB-150 or RAD-150 benzoate, on the theory that your body cuts the ester off and releases RAD-140 slowly. Nobody has published its structure, its receptor binding, whether that ester comes off, or how long it lasts.
The pitch is duration: longer-acting, smoother levels. RAD-140 already lasts long enough in the blood for one capsule a day with steady levels, so the ester promises to fix a problem RAD-140 does not have. What you actually trade is a known dose for an unknown one.
Users report RAD-150 feels like RAD-140: the strength, the temper, the vascularity, the crash after the cycle. Best case, it is RAD-140 at a dose nobody measured. Worst case, it is something else. If you came here looking for the milder RAD, there is none; the milder option is ostarine.
What the research shows
One side has a trial and case reports. The other has a naming collision:
Everything RAD-140 has on record, RAD-150 inherits as an assumption.
How people run them
If you run anything from this pair, run RAD-140: 10 mg a day for eight weeks, held there if it works, with bloodwork before, mid-cycle, and after. Then a full PCT, a SERM for four weeks starting about a week after the last capsule.
I’m not building a RAD-150 protocol out of a dose nobody has studied. Forum lore runs 10 to 20 mg a day, treating it as a longer-lasting RAD-140, and without any data nobody knows what that delivers. If you run it anyway, get a third-party COA first, since nothing else tells you what is in the capsule. Then treat it as RAD-140 in every way: the same bloodwork, the same full PCT, no alcohol, and stop if liver enzymes climb.
If you are partway through a RAD-150 bottle and want to move to RAD-140, swap the next day at 10 mg with no overlap, and count it as one cycle, not a fresh eight weeks. Never run both. That is RAD-140 twice, one of them at an unknown dose. Both are WADA-banned, like the rest of the class.
Side effects, side by side
RAD-140’s side profile is documented; RAD-150’s is borrowed from it:
