Anadrol vs Superdrol
4 sources
Anadrol, if it has to be one of these two. Both sit at the harsh end of the oral shelf, but anadrol has human trials behind it, a liver cost that rises with dose where you can watch it, and real mass at 50 mg. Superdrol buys dry strength fast with no efficacy trial at all, and its published record is liver injury that can land weeks after you stop. If dry strength is the goal, turinabol or anavar get you most of the look for far less risk; superdrol only makes sense short, low, and with bloodwork booked. Never run the two together.
How they differ
The difference you feel is wet against dry. Anadrol puts on size fast and brings water, bloat, and a blood pressure rise with it, even though it never converts to estrogen: the scale jumps and you look full. That also means anadrol’s gyno ignores an aromatase inhibitor, the usual estrogen blocker; a SERM is the tool if it shows up. Superdrol puts on strength and density with almost no water, so the bar moves more than the mirror does. Both kill appetite and leave you flat and tired as the weeks go on, anadrol worse as the dose climbs, superdrol often worst by week three. That costs anadrol more, because a mass oral only works if you can still eat.
The forums and the YouTube arguments call superdrol the stronger one pound for pound, and per milligram that is fair. For total size and strength, anadrol is still the strongest oral people run. The bigger gap is how well you know what you are taking. Anadrol is a pharmaceutical, studied in older men and in wasting, so its liver cost has numbers. Superdrol was a mid-2000s supplement-store designer steroid, a methylated cousin of masteron, and medicine has written down little about it beyond what it did to livers. Its signature is the delayed hit: jaundice that shows up after the cycle ends, when you thought you were done.
So the split is simple. Mass, and you accept the beating: anadrol at 50 mg on a testosterone base. A dry, hard look: turinabol, or anavar if you can verify it, long before superdrol.
What the research shows
Nobody has run these two against each other, and only anadrol has efficacy trials, so this is a trial record set beside a liver-injury file, in different people:
Anadrol’s numbers say its liver cost scales with dose, which is why 50 mg is the ceiling worth running. Superdrol’s say the damage can arrive after the last pill.
How people run them
Both are short orals on a testosterone base, and both get liver bloodwork before the first pill. The rhythm differs. Anadrol runs four to six weeks at 50 mg a day, or 25 if 50 hits too hard; going higher mostly buys more appetite loss and lethargy. Superdrol runs three to four weeks at 10 to 20 mg, and most experienced people stay at 10. A superdrol milligram is not an anadrol milligram, so never carry a number across. Superdrol also gets TUDCA, a bile-acid liver support, at 500 to 1000 mg daily for the whole cycle and two weeks after, plus a blood test at week two and again two weeks after your last dose, because its damage can surface late.
There is no clean switch between them. Never run one straight into the other: finish, let your liver values come back to baseline on bloodwork, then decide. Anadrol to superdrol, to dry out after a bulk, is the classic bad idea, two of the hardest orals back to back on a liver that has not recovered.
Do not stack them. These are the two orals that never share a cycle. Alcohol is zero on either, and stays zero for at least two weeks after superdrol. Plan your PCT or TRT before you start, like everything on this shelf.
Side effects, side by side
Same shutdown and the same liver warning on both; anadrol adds water and blood pressure, superdrol adds the late liver hit:
