The idea is right: an uncoupler that burns fat the way DNP does, without the narrow gap between working and dying. In mice, BAM15 delivers on that pitch. It strips fat, spares muscle, and does not spike body temperature. The problem is obvious: no human has ever taken it in a trial. Every number on this page comes from a rodent, and the jump from mouse metabolism to yours is exactly where uncouplers get dangerous. I like the mechanism. I am not running it yet.
What it is
BAM15 is a mitochondrial uncoupler, a molecule that short-circuits your mitochondria so the energy that would become ATP leaves as heat instead. Same basic trick as DNP, different molecule, and the pitch is a wider safety margin. In cell work, BAM15 uncoupled mitochondria without depolarizing the plasma membrane, something the older lab uncouplers could not manage, and in mice it did not raise body temperature at doses that cut fat. That temperature story is the whole reason BAM15 exists on this shelf: DNP kills because there is no ceiling on the heat, so a compound that uncouples gently enough to not overheat is the obvious next thing to build.
BAM15 is oral in mice, which is part of the appeal. But oral bioavailability in a mouse and in a person are different questions, and nobody has answered the second one.

Every finding here is from a dish or a mouse. No human trial of BAM15 has been published.
Realistic protocols
I am not building a dosing protocol from mouse chow concentrations. BAM15 has never been given to a person in a controlled setting, and uncouplers are the one class where getting the dose wrong can cook you. If you want fat loss you can actually run today, the incretin road is open: retatrutide or tirzepatide will outperform anything on this shelf with real human safety data behind them.
If you run BAM15 anyway: start as low as the capsule allows, keep cycles short, track your resting temperature daily, and do not stack it with DNP or any other thermogenic. Log everything. You are the trial.
